Wow Susie, that is FANTASTIC!!! Congratulations!!!! Keep up the great work....

Isn't it exciting when you hit milestones and can feel comfortable doing things

you were afraid of before? Espeically the parks. How exciting!! My sister cannot

wait to take me to Cedar Point hahaha... I can't wait either to NOT worry about

it. It's like being a kid alll over again. Best wishes!!!!

Good morning everyone! I went to the Dr. yesterday for the first

time since surgery week... and he says I'm doing great! WOOHOO!! I'm

down to 230.5 (started at 286) and I can TASTE the 220's... I'm

almost there!!! I can't even imagine how excited I'll be when I hit

199... OMG!!

Anyway, I took all my stuff to him... protein, vites, questions,

etc. The only thing he wasn't sure about was my sublingual B tabs

from Trader Joe's. They have B-12, B-6, and Folic Acid (I guess

that's not quite what a B-Complex pill has). He said to take them

for now and we'll do labwork for my next appt (in three months) and

see how all my levels are. Also, he didn't know why my tailbone is

hurting, so I'll assume it's to do with the weight loss. I hope it

will lessen over time as my body adjusts. :o)

We're going to Disneyland for 6 days at the end of September and I

CAN'T WAIT to run around the park and hop on and off rides at my new

weight!!! In fact, I contacted Disneyland several months ago and

explained my special dietary needs, asking if I could bring special

food items in the park with me. They said yes, with a Dr's note. So

my Dr. wrote me a note yesterday!

I also got something cool from Dr. P... it's a card that I can use

when we go out to eat that says " The bearer of this card has

undergone major stomach surgery. As a result of the surgery, this

individual is limited to the intake of very small quantities of

food. Please accomodate this individual's medical needs by allowing

him/her to order limited portions of food, such as a child's plate

or off the seniors menu " . Interesting, huh? I don't know that I'll

use it, but what the heck... I'll stick it in my wallet.

Okay, I'e rambled hehe. Have an awesome day! :o)

legs by the Matterhorn (sp?). I sometimes get one of these and share

it with my hubby. Bring yor letter just in case.

annual passes to Disney.

I need one of those cards. I had heard you could get them and use them like

at a buffet or whatever.

, that would be so fun! :o) We're so excited about coming

down! We haven't been there since April of 05 and we're overdue! I

decided to buy annual passes this time, since passholders get a

discount rate of $89/night at the Disneyland hotel. I think we'll

save overall, and then we'll have a years' worth of access to the

parks! I've seen those turkey legs and they look great! I also like

the kabob's at a little grill place that sits across from Indiana

.

I'm just hoping that Haunted Mansion won't be closed for the

Nightmare Before Christmas decorations... Disneyland isn't

Disneyland with Haunted Mansion!! :o)

One of the rides... I think it's the jellyfish one in California

Adventures... has a per-seat weight limit of either 300 or 350. My

daughter and I never went on it because we would want to sit

together. And now I'm SO EXCITED because I should be light enough

when we come down to ride on the jellyfish with Sammy!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!

Life is good! :o)

That's what I was thinking... I wouldn't feel right sneaking bites

off my daughter's plate at a buffet, but as little as I eat, it

wouldn't make sense to pay an adult price. So I might try the card

sometime and see what they say. Then again, I can just imagine a

line behind me waiting while I explain my situation. Maybe I'll

stick to water at Hometown Buffet hehe
