Marilyn,

> Why don't you think you're getting enough carbs?

Well,in beginning the diet is pretty limited (not sure how long to

wait for 2nd stage). . . other than that OJ, I'm eating some spinach

and about 1 zucchini a day. (the rest is meat, cheese, yog. cheese,

and eggs) I'm wondering if that is why I get so tired. I am fairly

active, normally, and actually this afternoon am heading up to a

weekend camp for girls where I am the main speaker and I help with

whatever else needs to be done. I really want to do this right and

get to feeling good (and strong) consistantly . . . that's my

struggle.

With all the talk about how important it is to not go too low and I

believe it does mess with your hormones, I just want to be careful.

> What kind of apples did you use, and were they organic or

conventional?

Normally I would have used conventional, we never buy organic, but we

help with an organization that gets produce from stores that they

can't sell and disperses it to people that need it. We took home a

box of organic golden delicious that day.

The company that sells baby carrots here says that they are long

skinning carrots cut short. That's okay, right?

Marilyn,

I am pretty ignorant about pressure cookers . . . how long would you

cook carrots in them to be " well-cooked " .

I seem to have misplaced it.

Mara,

Don't forget that with the Yahoo set up, you can go to the website, and

check the archives if you mis-file something in your email. <g>

I've done that when I wanted to send myself an extra copy to file in two

different places.
