Guest guest
I like diet soda. Regular is too sweet for me and leaves a yucky taste in my mouth. I used to drink diet soda ALL day long many years ago. But on one of my so called " health kicks " I went off all soda and cafinated drinks. I did the green tea thing for a while and to this day the thought of green tea makes me ill. I have one cup of coffee (latte) in the morning, during the day I primarily drink water unless I go out for lunch and then I might get a diet soda and occassionally I have one in the evenings. I pretty much drink water and if I have diet soda I keep it to only one a day. I figure one cup of coffee and one diet soda a day are not going to kill me. Guest guest
I agree, I love perrier water, but it is expensive and I don't have it often. I know my grocery has 2 liter bottles of sparking waters with efervescent flavors (no sodium, no sugar or artificial sweetners) and they aren't very expensive - about as much as a 2 liter of soda, maybe less. Guest guest
I go back and forth on the diet soda thing. I don't do reg. pop...it's just way too sweet for me...almost makes me sick. I've been realizing that when I start drinking a lot of pop, I start craving sweet things. I think I'm giving up diet pop for good now. I do like water. I drink several bottles (16.9oz size) a day. I buy big cases of it cheap at Sam's Club. Guest guest
I usually drink 3-4 cans of diet pop a day. I love it and feel deprived if I can't have it. I really would like to slowly cut down and eventually stop bc I'm afraid of the effects of artificial sweetners. It's hard though. I'll have to try sparkling water. I've never had it before. > > Sparkling water can be expensive - but not much more than a name breand diet soda. Seltzer or Club Soda is a another option if you want carbonation but something that won't make you feel crummy. > > > > > > > > > > >
