Thanks..I probably should have checked that out before forwarding.

Feel a bit foolish for being the start of a rumor but certainly happy to learn

its only an Urban Legend. Although, I wouldn’t completely dismiss the concern

about this product…I am happy to know I can still drink a diet coke. J

You need to do some research on Aspartame.......it breaks down into formic acid which breaks down into formaldehyde. Formaldehyde toxicity is one of the triggering factors for Fibromayalgia besides causing an Excitotoxicity effect in the brain which is an inflammatory condition in the brain. Better known as the Brain on Fire!

Aspartame is an excitotoxin. Excitotoxins cross the blood brain barrier and cause a constant misfiring of the neurons from the glutamate receptors in the brain.(Glutamate receptors in the brain are the primary source for cognitive functioning in the brain).
