shonda, i found the prep to be the hardest, so i asked my m.d. if i could fast for longer and not drink (or use any enema) laxatives, and he said yes. it never hurts to ask...i think i fasted for about 48+ hours which really wasn't hard when i knew what the alternative was (plus i felt really good after having chicken broth, jello, and other liquids for the fast!) julie
