Guest guest
I like Tyler, considered it myself. What do you thnk of Lupie? ( Wish I could change the Lupie part!) Had a sonogram today. Everything is AOK, heart beat was 144. All the prior visits my weight fluctuated tween 160.5 and 165. Now it was 167.75, guess we're growing now. Guest guest
i really like jacob too but hubby vetoes. i never knew picking out a name would be so hard. did you have an amnio or ultrasound to find out it was a boy. its interesting to see the heart rate too since that has been a hot topic lately. julie Re: update I like Tyler, considered it myself. Guest guest
JAcob and Tyler are both very popular now, I prefer to be a non-conformist but if I like it I guess that doesn't matter. At the amnio we coulld see the peenie ( looked more like a thimble on a cloud) and the amio confirmed it. Today he was uncooperative and couldn't see much. I was disappointed coz I was looking forward to seeing more detail. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who has sent me info and leads concerning residentials that support DBT. I've literally filtered through the details of hundreds of residentials, and found 3 definates, and one probable. The insurance company are checking out one in MA to ensure it conforms with their rules - this seems to be the front runner, and they have a vacancy coming up June 18. One won't take Sharlene (typical, the closest one - in NY!). I've passed details of the other 2 to KidsPeace to follow up on. So - I'm feeling a bit more hopeful now. Sharlene had an ear infection caused by a piercing through the top of the ear made 4 months ago. She had to have an emergency op to remove some cartilage and remove infection. We are fearful she will have a cauliflower ear now. I'd certainly think twice before allowing my girls to have another piercing through cartilage again! She is recovering well from the operation, but has to have antibotics by IV (this was a particularly nasty infection that is treatment resistant). She remains in the medical hospital under suicide watch, and will probably remain there for another 7 days. She's been acting out, but we're managing to keep her safe and compliant somehow. Doesn't help when the staff keep forgetting and give her a metal knife with her meals though! (schizophrenia) is doing brilliantly - it's the best I've seen her for months and months. It's like getting my old daughter back. I'm relatively sure this is connected to her mother going back to England. The next problem I'll have is how to have Sam home while I'm in NY working - but that'll be a pleasant challenge for a change! Several months away I'm sure, but looking increasing likely. As a byproduct of the investigations I've made, I'm trying to arrange a 2nd opinion on both girls at Columbia hospital in NY. It got delayed by Sharlene's ear op, but I'm hoping to go once she's back in the KidsPeace hospital. Steve
