I've had one thing compounded. Tylenol. It came in a pill form, with nothing but the acetaminophen. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
hey marylin, i am so confused because today it was explained to me that if it is in pill form there will -always- be illegals in it! the main difference is compounded pills will have -less-. so that is why liquid (the oil) is best. which weirds me out because i don't know what kind of ingredients -that- will contain and the flavor will probably be vile. i'm gonna have to call the pharmacist directly. i would just like to know what i am talking about so my ignorance won't get the best of the conversation and i end up stupid not asking the right questions. having trouble googling the ins and outs about this. jodi > > I've had one thing compounded. Guest guest
I am not sure what you are asking Eileen. I think even though I was having OTC things compounded my doctor had to OK it. > been wondering what to do if i ned meds - do you just ask a > pharmacist??? > eileen 4 weeks > Carol F. Guest guest
My husband is a compounding pharmasist. He gets odd questions all the time, just tell him/her what you cannot have and more than likely they can make it suitable for you. It may not taste good though Nicolr Re: compunding hey marylin,i am so confused because today it was explained to me that if it is inpill form there will -always- be illegals in it! the main differenceis compounded pills will have -less-. so that is why liquid (the oil)is best. which weirds me out because i don't know what kind ofingredients -that- will contain and the flavor will probably be vile.i'm gonna have to call the pharmacist directly. i would just like toknow what i am talking about so my ignorance won't get the best of theconversation and i end up stupid not asking the right questions. having trouble googling the ins and outs about this.) | Start a new topic Messages | Files | Photos | Links | Database | Polls | Members | Calendar Change settings via the Web (Yahoo!
