Guest guest
Marilyn, Since you order form the vitamin shoppe, do you order their brand of vitamin E? I noticed that brand as well as many others have soy or soybean oil in them (probably in the softgel itself). Would this be considered legal if it was with soybean oil? Thanks. Is there a brand that is recommended and Legal? The one I have been using says that it does not contain starch, soy, sugar, etc. (the usual suspects) but it just does not feel right in my stomach. I took it from a Natural Food store and it is done by a reputable company but it does not say what they use as filler - they only say ingredients: Vitamin D3. Suggestions? Guest guest
Marilyn, For some reason I thought that I had since that soybean oil was legal - not soy which really didn't make since to me - I just looked it up and I was wrong - soybean oil isn't legal. But do you or anyone else know of a good vitamin e that vitamin shoppe does sell. I'm trying to order thru them to save money, but may not be able to because of the ingredients. Thanks. Tina, I'm not sure where the " soy oil is illegal " came from, but I've heard it from several people of late. Elaine told me that although she wasn't fond of soy oil (because so much soy is GM), it was next to impossible to find a vitamin E which does not have soy oil in it, and that in Vitamin E, it was certainly all right. It's the soy protein that is an issue. I can tell you that I am stop-breathing sensitive to soy, protein or soy meal (learned this pre-SCD) and that I'm fine with Vitamin Shoppe Vitamin E. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
Marilyn, Can't thank you enough for your reply as I stopped taking vitamin e months ago because I couldn't find a natural vitamin e that I thought would be considered legal - I believe my body is in real need of it.
