Hi Maaza,

I cannot answer your question about the medications,

but I can relate to your knee pain. I have UC and

have had knee pain and swelling off and on throughout

my 28 years with UC. My doctors have told me that

since UC (and Crohn's too) is an autoimmune disease

the inflammation " travels " to other parts of the body.

I have eye inflammation too sometimes. I have been on

SCD for almost 5 months with no symptoms of UC for the

last 3 months. It seems to me that your knee pain

would eventually decrease just by being on the diet.
