Guest guest
Katcha- what a great idea!! I have wanted a bread machine for awhile but I don't really like the shape of the loaves. I never thought of using the bread machine for the mixing/rising and then just baking it in the oven! I may have to look into getting a bread machine! Homemade bread is so much better and that would make it so easy! I don't like the shape and size of the machine'span so I set a timer to let me know when the last 'punch' is done andthen I put the prepared dough into a regular loaf bake and bake it inour oven. Its great rewards for rather little effort. I've also learned to take more traditional dishes like lasagna andturn these into stove top casseroles. Things like stuffed peppersturned into 'unstuffed' peppers with the same basic taste but lessprep and cooking time required. You may also want to look into a crockpot where you can put ingredients into it and slow simmer until dinnertime. Don't give up on the tastes you love!Katcha>> Hi,> > For the past three months figuring out what I wanted to eat has been > pretty easy. Guest guest
Thanks for the info Katcha! I've made homemade bread several times and pizza dough lots of times. I usually cover the bowl and sit it by my heater! I never thought of the top of the fridge but it's really warm up there. Another great idea! Just finda nice warm (not hot) place to put the pan while this happens. I usedto put mine on top of the refrigerator where all the heat from thecooling coils rises. Just dust that area first and for sure cover thepan with a light cloth (dish towel). Katcha> >> > Hi,> > > > For the past three months figuring out what I wanted to eat has been > > pretty easy.
