Biotech Salmon Leaves Many Questions

AquaBounty Technologies Inc. is pushing for genetically altered salmon on the market in spite of a large outcry and many supposedly unanswerable questions. Is it safe to consume? There seems to be no material difference... the FDA reasons.

Other concerns involve labeling and whether Americans will know which salmon they are consuming, allergens and health risks, and the possibility of the new breed escaping and mixing with non-genetically modified fish.

Formerly Known as High Fructose Corn Syrup...

The CRA (Corn Refiners Association) are now calling high fructose corn syrup by what they insist is an accurate term for a 'natural' ingredient: corn sugar. Although they are not authorities on bio-chemistry, they claim that our bodies do not know the difference between high fructose corn syrup or any other sweetener.

As more information on its ill effects and the rise of obesity continues the CRA scrambles to find a 'nice' term to deflect negative views.
