Guest guest
I used to grind the seeds to to top my oatmeal with before SCD but I may soak them when I resume eating them. For now I am buying bulk generic organic psyllium. I find it's less irritating the gut to stagger 1 tsp before each meal then do 1tbs. I normally soak psyllium till it becomes gel like. I evaluate each BM and then decide if I continue with whatever protocol is needed. Eventually I hope to be able to go naturally. (I can't believe I am saying that!!) > hey serge- > > do you soak or grind your flax seeds? > how do you prepare it? > what brand of psyllium do you use? > > jodi > > > > > > be welcome but for now. Guest guest
Psyllium husks are loaded with cellulose and lignin which some bacteria thrive on. We accept that the cellulose in vegetables and fruit can be handled OK but a concentrated form such as husks would not be in order. This is from Elaine's legal/illegal list which really should be studied by newcomers. > I believe flax seeds are illegal . . . and I do miss them sometimes. > > Orlinda - OR > Celiac - 2006 > SCD - 2007 > > >> >> hey serge- >> >> do you soak or grind your flax seeds? >> how do you prepare it? >> what brand of psyllium do you use? >> >> jodi >> >> Carol F.
