Guest guest
Hi everyone! I'm so excited about having found this site! I have a question I would like to ask the members. I was having a conversation with my granddaughters Dietician who follows her through the CRS program, and I told her about my discovery of this site and what a great resource for information I think it will be. She asked me if I would give her the web site address. I think that would be nice, but I just wanted to ask if it is an appropriate site for health providers to use, or just mainly for families of RSS children? By the way, I myself am a nurse, but I subscribed because I'm Blair's grandmother, not because I'm a nurse. Could you give some feedback? Is there another site similar to this where health providers can share information? Thanks a bunch. Ann(grandmother of Blair, 15 months old, not yet diagnosed) PS: I think I'm going to go ahead and join the Magic Foundation and send for Dr. H's video. Guest guest
Well, I don't really mind. The only things that come to mind are that some might not feel as free to vent about their doctors or other caregivers if they thought some of them might be on the list or might find out through someone on the list. The other thing is that the dietician probably would quickly be bored with our conversations. She might rather have you print out pertinent posts and bring them to her. Just a thought, but again I don't mind and am happy with anyone who takes an interest in learning more about our kids. Kathleen (Mom to Abby--15 mos, 12 lbs. 12 oz, 25 in., not officially diagnosed RSS yet) P.S. I have saved some of the old posts that I thought I might want to read again later and some are about different nutritional supplements and high-calorie foods. If you're interested and maybe want to share them with your dietician, I can e-mail them to you directly. Let me know. You can also find a lot in the archives.
