Kim,

As it has been stated in many previous posts, and Ethel have given so

much support and time to this group that we would not be here if it wasn't

for their generous and caring nature. Pierre is the first person I know of

to be banned from the group and I'm sure and Ethel had good reason as

stated in their post. Please don't continue to bash and Ethel. If you

can't live with the decisions they've made why not e-mail Pierre privately if

you wish to. If you don't agree with the way this site is conducted and all

of the information being passed around you can always unsubscribe. But can't

we please move on? I'm not trying to be mean but enough already.

I am quite disappointed that you have not reinstated Pierre. As I have

mentioned in several of my posts to the group, this group is listed as

un-moderated by the people. As for list-owners, you and Ethel are not

the list owners of record.

Every day the are posts on this site touting natural remedies. I do not

understand why you are allowing these to be shared on an AP based group.

Natural remedies and supplements have no scientific basis for doing what

they are supposed to do. They are sold in stores as 'dietary supplements'

because they are not approved by the FDA to be sold as medicine. The FDA

does has not approved them for the very sensible reason that their

formulation and batch reproducibility is not documented.

I think you are doing a disservice to all members who suffer, or whose

families suffer, by allowing the mention of these products on this list.

Finally, I find it repulsive that the two of you should censor Pierre

because his opinion does not coincide with yours. AS I have stated many

times the information found on this list is personal opinion not exact

science.

I understand that you have helped many people on this list. Censoring an

individual for his beliefs is not helping those who would have benefited

from his opinions.

I am going to continue with my disatisfaction with the group until something

is done to remedy Pierre's blockage. I intend to contact the people at

and apprise them of the situation at this group.

Sincerely,

Kim Gallant

PS. I have been concerned for some time that the product Rheumax is allowed

to be touted on this site. There is absolutely no scientific

justification that this product provides any sort of Rheumatological

support. As I understand, this site has been created to support individuals

suffering from those diseases that AP would prove beneficial. So what does

Rheumax have to do with AP therapy.

Hello,

I have read the emails floating back and forth and take umbrage at the

statement and inference of there being BASHING by Kim. I think your use

of the word bashing is inflammatory, and myopic.

You know to unsubscribe from something because we don't like certain

aspects almost seems deleterious. One could analogize that thought to

all aspects and simply say...I don't like the September 11th attack on

the USA therefore I will no longer be American...

I am sorry but I find this rationale almost a teeder todder effect...if

you don't like it..perhaps you should be the one UNSUBCRIBED.

Just a thought before we all start making determinations detrimental to

the members of the club seeking information and exchanging ideas...

I think that Kim has been ever so kind in her statements and have reread

them a few times.

I find your choice of words offensive to even infer she was BASHING.

Sincerely

Sam

Since my words have been so offensive to the group I will graciously move on.

I wish you all well.....to those I have helped please hang in there this can

work for you with a little patience. To those who have helped me thank you

from the bottom of my heart you are truly beautiful people. I have found

more caring and support in this group than I could have ever hoped for and

above all, thank you for encouraging and informing me which has helped me get

well. A year and a half ago I didn't dare dream that I could feel this good

again. Wishing you all health and happiness.....

Dear Dee,

I guess I wasn't paying attention and don't know what you are referring to

when you say, " Since my words have been so offensive to the group I will

graciously move on. " ly, I have never found anyone offensive here.

Sure, we may have some differing opinions.

Hope you stick with the group. Everyone's input is important.

This was fun when I got to the answer interpretations. Enjoy!

TEST

Interesting!!!

You may find this revealing in some way in your life. And then

again, maybe

not.

Dalai Lama Personality Test

The Dalai Lama said read it to see if it works for you. Very

interesting.

Just 4 questions and the answers will surprise you.

Do not cheat by looking up the answers. The mind is like a

parachute, it works

best when it is opened.

This is fun to do, but you have to follow the instructions very

closely.

Do not cheat.

MAKE A WISH BEFORE BEGINNING THE TEST!!

A Warning! Answer the questions as you go along.

There are only four questions and if you see them all before

finishing, you will

not have honest results.

Go down slowly and do each exercise as you scroll down. Don't

look ahead.

Get pencil and paper to write your answers as you go along. You

will need it at

the end. This is an honest questionnaire which will tell you a

lot about your true

self.

PERSONALITY TEST:

Put the following 5 animals in the order of your preference.

Write down the

animal names (not just the letter)

a. Cow

b. Tiger

c. Sheep

d. Horse

e. Pig

Write one word that describes each one of the following:

Dog

Cat

Rat

Coffee

Sea

Think of someone (who also knows you and is important to you)

that you can

relate to the following colors (do not repeat your answer

twice. Name just one

person for each color.)

Yellow

Orange

Red

White

Green

Finally, write down your favorite number and your favorite day

of the week.

Wish for something you REALLY WANT.

Look at the interpretations below: (but first before

continuing, repeat your wish.)

Question # 1: This will define your priorities in your life.

Cow Signifies CAREER

Tiger Signifies PRIDE

Sheep Signifies LOVE

Horse Signifies FAMILY

Pig Signifies MONEY

Question # 2:

Your description of dog implies YOUR OWN PERSONALITY.

Your description of cat implies the personality of your

partner.

Your description of rat implies the personality of Your

enemies.

Your description of coffee is how you interpret SEX.

Your description of the Sea implies your own life.

Question # 3:

Yellow: Someone you will never forget

Orange: Someone you consider your true friend

Red: Someone that you really love

White: Your twin soul

Green: Someone that you will remember for the rest of your life

Question # 4:

You have to send this message to as many persons as your

favorite number

and your wish will come true on the day that you put. This is

what the Dalai

Lama has said about the Millennium-just take a few seconds to

read it and

think.

Do not put away this message, the mantra will come out from

your hands in the

next 96 hours. You will have a very pleasant surprise. This is

true, even if you

are not superstitious. Please do this. It is fascinating.

SEND THIS E-MAIL MANTRA TO AT LEAST FIVE PERSONS AND LIFE WILL

IMPROVE

0-4 persons: Your life will improve slightly

5-9 persons: Your life will improve to your liking

9-14 persons: You will have at least 5 surprises in the next

three weeks

Mark, here's my take.

Rich text can be sent as an attachment, depending upon the sending email

application. This list is set to strip attachments.

It is my guess that is sending the rich text formatting as an

attachment, and so it is getting stripped by the server.

Send me a copy directly, if you want, I'll see if I receive it as an

attachment.

that he has weaned himself off methotrexate over the last three weeks and had

been taking minocycline 50mg x 2/day everyday. He is in significantly more pain

which is making if difficult for him to work. I have initially advised him to go

to 100mg minocycline M, W and F and he will contact me in one week. I also

advised that things can get worse before they get better. I am concerned that he

took himself off methotrexate without a doctor's assistance and that I would

have preferred to have seen his pain levels under control before he reduce the

methotrexate. I am thinking an appointment with the AP doctor here could be the

most appropriate next step. I would really appreciate your input on this

situation.

Dear Group,

Yes, a long time has gone by without any postings. So let me break the silence.

After reading the excellent book " From Fatigued to Fantastic " by

Teitelbaum, M.D., I am now taking D-Ribose, a sugar which

should be available at most health food stores. I believe that it has

made a huge difference for me in treating muscle pain and soreness as

well as joint pain.

After 10 years, my rheumatic condition still does no have a

convincing diagnosis. Different rheumatologists have diagnosed me

with rheumatoid arthritis, pseudo-gout, polymyalgia rheumatica, and

most recently, reactive arthritis. My personal diagnosis now leans

toward fibromyalgia, even though the latter does not explain the

periodic and very painful fluid buildup in my knees.

Thank you for listening.

Sincerely, Harald
