Guest guest
Addie, I would do the yogurt as soon as you come off the anti-biotic as it counters the killing of good gut bacteria and restores the balance. The intro diet is only for 2 or 3 days. Here are suggestions for adding foods after but they are not hard and fast rules. http://www.pecanbread.com/new/scdfoods1.html > Hi.I've had UC for 8 years. Guest guest
Do you think I should go off the intro diet if there is still some bleeding?Carol Frilegh wrote: Addie, I would do the yogurt as soon as you come off the anti-biotic as it counters the killing of good gut bacteria and restores the balance. Guest guest
Hi Addie, Welcome! Go to pecanbread .com asap and look at the stages for introducing new foods. It will help you know what to introduce next. I got so tired of chicken soup, gelatin and eggs and applesauce. It was so great when I could add new foods even though I just added new food about every 3 days. I have found this diet to be extremely nutritional and have more energy than ever! I didn't add any nut flour until after 3 months. You better wait awhile for that. I eat baked goods with nut flour now, but Elaine recommends no more than 3-4 muffins a day I believe. It is amazing what this diet has done for me and I wish you the best with it. Keep in touch! Janet UC 28 years, Colazal SCD 4 months --- addiesmermaids wrote: > Hi.I've had UC for 8 years.
