Guest guest
Hello all you wise, experienced, and very helpful people! I’m so happy I finally found you! I’ve been reading your posts for a short while and just finding others, who take this diet serious and keep up the struggle for this way of obvious healing, has been a bit like ‘coming home’ to me. I’ve missed you for so long! <smile> I’ve been very much alone with scd for about a year now (except for a very supporting husband). I’m very committed, but I’ve managed to make a LOT of mistakes anyway. Right now I’m back to the chicken soup for a while. But I’m very determined and think that if you’ve had Crohn’s for 30 years, it’s no wonder it will take some time to turn things around. Now, my first question (there'll be many more): I started to drain my yogurt some time ago (yummy!), which takes away almost half of the volume. I’m very aware that we are not supposed to eat more than 3 cups of yogurt a day – but does that mean 1½ cups of drained yogurt or….? That probably depends on the amount of yogurt bacteria there are left in the drained one? Couldn’t find the answer anywhere. Does any of you know? Thanks in advance!
