Guest guest
Hi Jod,I have my list of sleep aids that I turn to when I'm missing Zzzzz's. Note that this list isn't additive, I don't use them all together but rather separately, depending on how dire my deficit is. In emergencies I do turn to very small amounts of meds:1. Cup of hot water with a bit of heavy cream & honey2. Yogurt or Turkey about an hour before bedtime 3. Magnesium capsule (helps relax muscles, and maybe there's a placebo effect too.)4. Meditation or Stretching gently (this one can be combined with others.)5. Ativan or Ambien (both of these are pharmaceuticals and I cannot verify the legality of either one), especially if the cause of my sleeplessness is physical pain or traveling way outside my time zone. Most of the time, a cup of hot water with honey/cream and some gentle stretching are enough to turn off my brain and relax my body.I wish you rest,Nina in MA----- Original Message ---- ever since i was on very high doses of prednisone for a long time, my sleep was totally disrupted. even today- i haven't been on prednisone now close to a year. is there an scd approved sleep aid or a home remedy anyone knows of? i am traveling soon and i dont want to go out of my mind with lack of sleep/insomnia. melatonin only works for about a week on me. and i do not know if there are any scd brands. there is the homeopathic "calms forte" but thats FULL of starches. thanks, jod i just saw kirkman makes a melatonin with magnisium but i was still wondering if someone knows of anything besides melatonin. Guest guest
Of course. Otherwise that drink would have the opposite effect of what's intended :-)----- Original Message ---- Is the cream treated with Lacteeze drop?
