Guest guest
So I am turning to my scd friends to help me make a decision, although I am leaning towards one direction. I went to the dentist today..and the dentist wanted me to start using some products to steer away from peridental disease..(which I don't have though) a anitbacterial mouthwash called chorheiodine gluconate oral rinse a higher perscription fluoride toothpast called flurodixe and a casin-type paste called MI paste all things would reduce plaque build up and fight gingevitis and keep my teeth healthy longer. I didn't know if any of these things would be a negative as far as U.C and scd.. I've heard the controversy on fluride...and I was thinking that if a antibacterial mouthwash is killing bad bacteria...again isn't it going to kill good bacteria? My idea was that I should just start brushing everyday, twice a day..and floss...and see what happens with that! I was just wondering if there were people out there who may see some gut problems happening because of what's going on in my mouth and that these things could actually help. Thanks for any insite, sandy uc since 2004 scd 2 months and constipated? Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
Why not try your idea and see how things go until your next visit. Antibacterial will kill all the bacteria, good and bad. If you don't have any problems then maybe you won't get any. Katy My idea was that I should just start brushing everyday, twice a day..and floss...and see what happens with that!
