Guest guest
This is critical!!! Breaking news about threats to Social Security Millard, The news just broke: the co-chairs of the President's Fiscal Commission have released their preliminary recommendations. And as we feared, they include unfair cuts to the Social Security benefits millions of seniors depend on every day. We're already fighting back against these attacks on your benefits. As part of our rapid response campaign, next week we plan to hand-deliver nearly 900,000 signatures in favor of protecting and strengthening Social Security directly to the Commission. We need to make sure Congress and the Commission know we won't stand for unfair cuts that will hurt older Americans and future generations. But we only have until midnight on Friday to collect as many signatures as possible in time for our delivery. Will you help make this critical message to Congress even stronger by asking your friends and family to join you in standing up for Social Security? Just forward the message below to 5 friends. Thanks again for your support on this critical issue. Barry ------FORWARD THE MESSAGE BELOW TO 5 FRIENDS------ Hi, Did you hear that the Co-Chairs of the President's Fiscal Commission just released their initial recommendations for reducing the deficit, and they have already proposed cuts to Social Security benefits?! Social Security didn't cause the budget deficit, and our retirement and security shouldn't be put at risk to fix it. That's why I've already signed AARP's petition to protect Social Security. Next week AARP will be delivering these petitions directly to the Commission - will you help us make an even bigger impact by adding your signature too?
