Looks like it is made from corn, beet and chicory. But even substitute sugars are made from natural ingredients, and they are harmful. Honestly, I would not trust it. I don't like anything that is not sugar cane, honey, molasses, or maple syrup, that is just me, and I suppose it's harder on people who are diabetic and need a substitute. The processing that goes into making a new product, and whatever it entails it always raises red flags for me. Looks too perfect to be true! This is the site from it. Myself I never heard about it. The very small proportion of sweetener isn't mentioned in the site. But this is what was written in the article of the newspaper : Voor de zoetheid zit er ook een kleine dosis van de chemische zoetmaker sucralose in Sweetwell. translated: for the sweetness there is also a little bit of the chemical sweetmaker 'sucralose' in Sweetwell. CHEMICAL !!!!! pfffff So I don't know if it will be a good sweetener. http://www.sweetwell.eu/
Guest guest
Thank you for the info dear. I never heard about it. It just mentioned that a restaurant used it already here with success. But the words "a little bit of chemical sweetener" made my brows going up. Maybe we will hear more about it soon. I cannot ask for info to my two eldest kids as both learned for bakery. They left school before it was invented.
