It must be an error, b/c they are usually very on top of things.

Dr. Zeno Office - Is this the norm ?

Almost 2 months ago --- Baby was brought in for exam at Dr. Zeno's office, titers were drawn.Mom called the office many times over past 6 weeks for lab result(same outgoing message answers) mom leaves messages, return phone number etc. and nobody from Dr. Zeno's will call mom back. Am I the only one who finds this VERY unprofessional and well... rude. How should this mom go about getting the titer reports if nobody will even return a call?

Titers were drawn, test results are at the office. I personally

called mom after listening to her voicemail, mom did not call back

yet.

I am personally on top of all the cases at the office and I am always

in contact with the moms either by phone or by email.

Visit was less than two months ago, results were at the office a week

later.

Mom called on Tuesday when the office is closed as it says in

the " outgoing message " , " staff " called back and left a message.

Mom called this week again on Tuesday when the office is closed,

then " staff " called back and left her another message.

After reading this post today, the " staff " called back today and she

couldn't talk so she called the office back. Mom is going to pick up

results next week.

In any medical office in order for the personnal to release any type

of information the parents or patient has to sign a release form and

authorize a fax, email or mail address. If that form is not in file,

by HIPPA no personal information can be released.

I guess the way mom could get the titers results is calling during

business hours to the office, sending an email or passing by the

office personally.

The " staff " at Dr Zeno's office is always available for the parents,

I know because the only " staff " that Dr Zeno has is me, Luciana, and

I am in touch with the parents by phone or email all the time.

If no calls are returned, you might want to send a certified letter requesting the information. If it isn't received after that, you could call the FL dept. of proffessional regulation and request assistance.
