A sleep apnea machine can be great if they have the settings right, and if they service them, etc. When I had my sleep study in lab, the morning after I woke up great. I haven't had much luck with the company I have to service it though. They finally came out to check my machine, and found out it was broke! ( no wonder I felt I was breathing funny..too fast..too slow..too much pressure). But, I am still waiting for them to get another machine for me..and it has been like 2 months now. Also..there are many, many masks available, so if you don't feel right with one, ask about another..they actually have one that is very lightweight and only goes in the nostrils.. Good Luck, hope it works out for you...the days I have where I get the best sleep seem to be the better energy days..
