Don't know much about 100 Ideas meeting...but another conference to check out is SPARC 2008..... LOTS of great presenters and exhibitors.... listed on the website. It's in Largo, so right in Pinellas.

I am am new to the list. I am a father of a teen with Autism. We live in Pinellas. I am thinking about going to the 100 ideas meeting but can't get any information about who the panelists and speakers will be. I would have to take a day off work. So I have requested this information from the organizers and they keep telling me to check their website - which only has an agenda and a keynote speaker listed. Does anyone know who Margaret Vance is? Does anyone have any information about who the other speakers and panelists will be?

Which politicians are going to be there? I can't get an answer about that either - other than Marco Rubio and some staff from the attorney generals office. I an not looking to educate myself...just want to know who will be on the panels and who is Margaret Vance and no one from 100 ideas is responding!

Tony: Dr. Margaret Pericak-Vance is a top researcher in genetics at the Univ of Miami's School of Medicine. I have heard people speak of her in terms of future Nobel prizes. Her team (she came to UM with twenty or more other researchers) is doing a lot of studies on autism, though I don't know the specifics. If you Google her, you can read about this.

: Since Marco Rubio is out of office (though I know he will run again), the goals for this conference don't seem that clear.
