Guest guest
http://www.freshdates.org.uk/health%20value.htmlI could not copy and paste this site, however what is most important about dates is that they have folic acid which is essential for pregnant women and developing fetus. The dates that I love are called "Medjol" they are fresh, and delicious, and when I bake with dates I use the "bread" kind, which are usually the deglet dates, the kind that are in the tub at groceries usually they are pitted already, and are not as fresh.I love dates myself, and eat them with walnuts, almonds, dried pineapples and some times organic dried apricots.California grows dates, but they originated I do believe in the middle east, Israel, other countries in that vacinity.
