Guest guest
I just got this from Elaine's daughter: Hi..both are below 110, so I can't see the problem. As long as it is not too hot, it works fine. > Carol, > Do you think someone could change what Elaine's website says. Guest guest
Thank you, Carol -- do we now have a consensus, though, or is it an ambiguous just below 110 degrees? Guest guest
Based on Elaine's daughter's answer (cool to below 110F), I'm going to follow that, but not go below 98F (12 degrees difference) . . . rather than wait to cool to the 70's (40 degree difference) . . . but, that's just my opinion. Seems to me if Elaine wanted us to cool it to the 70'sF, she would have said cool to below 80F. Someone here mentioned the proper cool down temp varies, depending on what kind of starter you're using. I read that on one of the websites, too. If ya' google "yogurt making", you'll come across it. Carol, thanks for contacting Elaine's daughter for us <hugs>! Well wishes to all. ferna, UC/CD, SCD 97, 05, 06, No Meds -----Original Message----- I just got this from Elaine's daughter: Hi..both are below 110, so I can't see the problem.
