Avocados are a wonderful food, with lots of good fats in them and vitamins and so forth. Like bananas, however, they need to be ripe.  Here's a link which has all you need to know about selecting, ripening, and preparing avocados.I missed the link. Curious. The link didn't come through. It's in my out-box copy. Oh well,

let's try again. Maybe Yahoo hiccupped.

LOL!! there was always someone there - weird??? anyway I think I

explained some stuff wrong but wil try to say it better and thanks

for all the actual calorie advice - how do I figure how many calories

I'm getting though?

I've had a food /BM /feelings & times diary since oct - way before

scd - but still keeping it

I am only adding one at a time -I had done vitamins etc but even

backed off those and am doing one new anything at a time - I was

tolerating olive oil so I just added more (not new though) and it was

a tiny chunk of cheddar that I reacted too but after trying again I

didn't seem too??? I'll wait to add yoghurt - I'm making for the

first time tonight-until I feel ok tomorrow night with the extra oil

in

my basic day is

banana pancake with homemade applesauce (adding honey now) not new

but i had it separate and now will put it right in or lean beef

steak/egg

1 fat chicken breast pureed cooked carrots apple/pearsauce drizzled

with oil now

chicken soup with chicken in

chicken meal from above again

banana with honey

porterhouse steak 1 lb

2 hardboiled eggs

I am on Entecort (steroid)for 4 more weeks and taking digest gold

with each meal

drinking water or 1/2 water half white grape

awating results of Givens capsule camera swallowing test

dx with celiac and crohn's but new doc is iffy about crohns thinks

bad celiac maybe??? gastroparesis - can scd help that???

not bad symptoms of either just nausea (that is horrible but could be

much worse I'm sure)

many symptoms are going but dizziness and blood flowing to hands when

the slightest bit of exposure to heat are freaking me out

thanks for listening

what do you think calorie wise of what I'm eating????

THANKS SO MUCH

Well, I could plug all that in to a program I have... but then you won't

learn how to do things for yourself. Go out to Fitday.com, and get

yourself a free account. Then plug in everything you eat in a day, along

with amounts. (Yes, this means measuring the amount of oil you drizzle on

things, too.)

It will break it down into proteins and fats and carbohydrates.

Then you can decide where you need to add things.

Just looking at it, though, you haven't added any well-cooked, and

perhaps pureed vegetables. You're going to need those to begin to get

things regular.
