Guest guest
You are right about keeping positive thoughts, e! I rarely watch TV news, so I can keep a brighter outlook. Of course, our TV news is watered down, so we really don't get much truth. Not being negative, just factual. Instead I have my internet explorer home page set up with news from sources I trust, from all over the world. I read the headlines, every day, to see what's going on. Occasionally, I might go to an article. I want to know, but I don't dwell on it. It's like knowing that a rattlesnake is poisonous, so you avoid it. It's just the way it is. Yes, I agree, the WAVE has started! It will be interesting to see where the WAVE hits next. I say my prayers for ALL, ask for guidance for the Highest Good of All, and have to trust in Source/God/Creator/Great Spirit/ect. Time will tell. I live in my little world, trying to do the best I can and that's all I can do. I just went down and fed the feral (wild) cats, and 2 (out of ?12?) let me pet them and they wanted to be petted. That is heaven to me. They are learning to trust me, by my actions. Actions, always tells the truth in the long run. Well, back to my work. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Lots of Love. :-) [health] BBC News - Bolivian President Evo Morales flees food price protest"Natural Health and Living" <health >Date: Thursday, February 10, 2011, 10:04 PM I haven't heard much in the news about food shortages. Of course, I do hear about how the prices are going up. But, then, I don't need to be told that, because I can tell when I go to the grocery! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-12427057 Sucker-punch spam with award-winning protection.Try the free Beta. Guest guest
Yes, e, you are right the gas prices in europe are so high, and higher than we pay in the US. I agree, we should not complain. If I lived in the city, like NYC, I would not have a car. You can take mass transit there. When I lived in Brooklyn NY I did not even have a license to drive and with 3 kids I would walk or take the bus. Also stores were only a block away. Here where I live now, stores are farther away. I live where there is high mountains all around me. The nearest town is 15 minutes away. There are school buses to take the kids to school, and that helps. I also do my errands once a week to save on gas and buy in bulk.
