Guest guest
We are starting Pediasure in Jan and I am also curious about other possibilities for high calorie foods. Wanted to let you now, too, that ALTA will pay for our Pediasure. Have you tried to bill your ins for it? When our ins rejects it, and I'm sure it will, ALTA, a state agency, will pay for it as it is a need for a child under 3. Its not based on income or anything-just medical necessity. Guest guest
Hi , My doctor told me that the protein/fat/mineral contents in ENSURE and other adult drinkds were too high for toddlers...but, I never really followed up more specifically than that, so you should check the labels and ask your doctor or a nutritionist about it. Guest guest
: I've heard the same as Katy has. I would look more into it before you give it to Shelby. The nutrients are different as it should be for a small child as opposed to the adult drink " Ensure " . Good luck!
