probably know Michele, but those who don’t, please read her email below.

Her son has a form of autism and what she’s asking can help him and

others with it. It only takes a minute or two.

Hello everyone – sorry for

the mass email and to take a moment out of your day...but it’s really for

an important cause.

As you know, our son has Fragile X Syndrome, the number one

inherited cause of mental retardation and autism. I am on the Board of

Directors for FRAXA, the Fragile X Research Foundation and we are getting very

close to some real treatments for Fragile X, autism and even possibly

Alzheimer’s (you can’t believe how connected they all are!)

You may have seen the ads running for American Express’ “Members

Project”? Amex is offering $1.5 million in funding for these underfunded

but very worthy charitable initiatives. FRAXA is currently #9 on the popularity
