Guest guest
Hi kscelot, I've been researching motor issues in autism recently, and came across a few articles where University of Florida researchers actually found differences in motor development and reflexes in children at 8 months of age who were later diagnosed with Asperger's. The researchers (a husband-wife team, named Teitelbaum) believe if we were studying motor development in autism, children with Asperger's could be diagnosed much earlier than the 6-8 years of age they currently receive a diagnosis, after they exhibit enough behavior and social difficulties for professional diagnosis.
