Guest guest
Saute some onion and bell peppers (peeled) and/or tomato and/or zucchini in butter or olive oil or a combo, as you like. Scramble the eggs. Add seasoning - salt pepper chop parsley or some fresh herbs. And add to the mix. You have two choices. You can add the scrambled eggs to the pan and cook. Or take out the veggies, make an omelet, add back the veggies on one side of the pan, and fold the omelet over. I can't eat any dairy Well, there you have me. <g> I have a whole batch of egg recipes, but most of them involve cheese, it being a well known fact that I do not have blood in my veins, but liquid cheese. You can make a " cream " soup by beating together a couple of eggs and several tablespoons of coconut or olive oil in the top of a double boiler. Place over briskly simmering water and whisk until the mixture thickens, 6-9 minutes. You can add different seasonings to it, then thin with some tablespoons -- up to a cup -- of bone broth -- to make a soup or sauce which you can put over well-steamed vegetables or slices of nut-free bread toast, or just enjoy as is. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
I don't know how you feel about raw eggs, but how about this yummy non-dairy peanut butter ice cream recipe (that I happened to have made today). This tastes nothing like eggs obviously. 6 eggs separated1/3 c. honey1 tablespoon. vanilla2 tablespoons peanut butterBeat yolks with honey Add vanilla and peanut butter and beat again.Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.Fold whites into yolks. Put into ice cream maker OR Freeze for 1 1/2 hours.Mix together again to blend and refreeze.Keep mixing every 1/2 hour until it reaches ice cream consistency. Eggs Hey,Any suggestions for eggs?I can't eat any dairy (no farmer's cheese, hard cheeses, or milkyogurt) but would like to have more eggs in my diet but I find themboring without any flavoring or something else added. Thanks for any suggestions.PS - the nut milk yogurt the list helped me make has been working wellfor me as long as I only have small amounts. When I eat too much itmakes me sick but as I build up very slowly it works for me. Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search. Guest guest
Thank you for the peanut butter ice cream recipe. I love peanut butter cake and this looks like the same thing but frozen instead of cooked. I never would have thought of that! Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo!
