Guest guest
Dear Caroline, My name is Tarra Guerra - I got your forwarded email from at the Palm Beach School for Autism. I just wrote you back, but I'm not sure whether or not the long email I just sent you got to you, so I'm sending another one. I am a Suzuki violin teacher in your area and would be interested in speaking with you about lessons for your son. I don't specialize in autistic children, but have had great success with them before. Suzuki lessons are aimed towards each individual child's needs anyway, so they are very friendly to any child, including special needs kids. I put you onto my email list with a general invitation to my introductory parent session. I'm not sure how much you know about the Suzuki method. I am a " real " Suzuki teacher, not just one who teaches from the books. This means that I do the teacher trainings courses myself regularly, I hold weekly group class AND weekly private lessons for each child, and I begin with parent training. You as the parent are a very important part of your son's learning process (something you are probably already very familiar with through helping him with schooling). You attend and take notes at every lesson, and you are the home coach for every daily practice sesssion, so the parent training is really helpful! Please give me a call. I will be away over the weekend, but will otherwise be reachable, and the machine will take messages literally at any time. I hope you can come to the information session on the 23rd. I look forward to meeting you! Sincerely, Tarra Guerra SUZUKI STRINGS Suzuki Violin & Guitar tarramusic@... -----Original Message----- To: tarramusic@...
