Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitors are genetically engineered monoclonal .... CPT Code: 90765, 90766 HCPCS Code: J1745 Injection, infliximab, 10mg ...https://www.bcbsri.com/BCBSRIWeb/plansandservices/services/medical_policies/TumorNecrosisFactorTNFInhibitors.jsp - 41k - Cached - Similar pages

TNF is a test for inflammatory condition for such conditions as psoriasis, arthritis, Crohn's, and other conditions. You need to ask your doctor why he did that test as opposed to an IgM test for inflammatory condition in the brain which would be covered. Does your child have Crohn's - inflammatory bowel disease?

Hopefully he'll give you an explanation.
