The theme of the conference is: “Nuts ‘n Bolts: Everything You Need to Know About Guardianship, Special Needs Trusts, Medicaid Waiver Tiers, and Administrative Appeals.†On-site registration begins at 8:15 AM, and the program begins at 9 AM. This is an all-day conference that will bring professionals and families together to discuss critical issues pertaining to persons with developmental disabilities. Presenters on “Guardianship†will be Knyvett Lee of CareSource, Barbara Reiser of Barbara Reiser & Co.,, and Twyla Sketchley, Esq. Presenters on “Special Needs Trusts†will be Finchum, Esq., Sheri Hazeltine, Esq., and , Esq. Presenting on the new Medicaid 4 tier waivers will be Mr. Bob Wessels of the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Fort Lauderdale office. Presenters on “Administrative Appeals†will be King, Esq., a Ruiz, Esq., and Talenfeld, Esq. Advance registration is only $ 25.00 per person, including lunch, but will be$ 40.00 at the door. Limited vendor space is available for the day at $ 150.00 CLE’s & CEU’s are being applied for attorneys and guardians.
