So this just confirms what I've already learned. My doctors have mentioned this connection, but it's good to see more research being done on it. My primary digestive disorder, Sphincter of Oddi dysfunction, affects people who have frequent migraines (usually middle-aged women). I have chronic but usually mild headaches off and on throughout the day as part of my metabolism -- and also suffer from chronic nausea and constipation and some other symptoms. The frequency of migraines has eased off since my hysterectomy 4 years ago, but I still get them two or three times a month. Oh well.
