Guest guest
, The pain you are describing with the high cholostrol level sounds like the pain I had a few yrs. ago. It was pancreties. Inflamation of the pancaras. I woke up one am in such pain, I passed out and when I came too I had to call for an ambulance. Went to the ER and they ran all sorts of tests and found that my lipbids were high. I was put on IV and was in the hospital for 4 days until such times and the levels came down. I am on zocor for the high chlostroel and lotrel for the high blood pressure. A few months after that episode I had another attack, went to the dr's, he sent me over for blood work, it came back high again and he wanted me back in the hospital, but I didn't want to go so he gave me a prescription for vicodine which that really helped the pain. I have been pain free ever since with no flare ups cause my levels are normal now and under control. I know what you mean about when you are about to go to the dr's the pain seems to go away. It reminds me of when you take your car to the mechanics because there is a noise and when you get there they don't hear the noise. Hope this helps.
