Guest guest
My husband and I are going on a cruise leaving out of Ft. Lauderdale April 6th.I spoke with the passenger relations people before our cruise. I had a refrig put in my room at a daily charge so that I could take my yogurt, etc. They provide ice so a small cooler could work. I get my Friendship Farmer's cheese from Publix grocery in Florida, maybe not available in every Publix, however. I did not understand that they would make most items on their menu in the dining room gluten free until the end of the cruise. They offered sorbet each night. You order from the next day's menu so it is prepared and ready when time. This was Holland America. I found out during the cruise that some were very aware of GF and would provide pancakes, muffins, etc. You have to find the head person in the caffeteria to talk to. I had a great time and wished I had known some of this before going so I did not have to worry so much. Still need to be careful. I needed my own butter container and they were happy to provide. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.itaCeliac almost 3 yrs, SCD 8 months Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now.
