Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who took the time to share info with me on my " floater " issue. I guess I missed the discussion the last time it was brought up... It seems that malabsorption of fat or at least eating a somewhat fatty diet may be the cause...I will continue to research this and share the info with you. Regarding the staple line disruption...I've been noticing that often after I eat I feel more uncomfortable, sometimes just during the day before eating. I have a pain similar to acid indigestion but different from I am used to. I take Prilosec and originally they told me to take 2 a day for life, but for the last several months I have only taken one and this seems to do the trick. I'm not even sure I need them on a daily basis...anyway. I'm not sure if I'm overeating, eating something that is disagreeing with me, or what? It hasn't happened enough or at the same time to figure it out yet. If I was to get checked out for this (possible SLD or just to check out what's going on) would a " scope " be the proper procedure or are there others that give a better take on the situation? I know this has been answered before too, but must I suffer from " selective memory. " Thanks again and take care, Louise
