Guest guest
Arnie, baking has always been my 'bane'! And of course loving to eat it too didn't help - lol!! I have learned to make my items 'multiple' or divided up so that I am not triggered by the sight of a cookie jar full of fresh yummy cookies. Now I package them into sandwich sized baggies and put these into the freezer for eating a few at a time. I also bake cakes and banana bread into mini-loaves that I can share with special others who enjoy these and don't bake themselves. (Nothin' says lovin' like somethin' from the oven . . .) Have FUN with baking and do try and add your own special touch to ingredients and recipes. I use whole wheat flour with oatmeal cookies, banana and pumpkin breads to make more wholesome and heartier items. This all reminds me that I haven't made a pie in some time - hmmm, apple or pumpkin?!? :) Katcha IEing since March 2007 > > MMMMMmmmmmmm..... Chocolate chip coockies!
