Guest guest
I don't think your dr. could answer the question because it's different for everyone. That is why we each have to find out what works for our particular set of circumstances. As for carrots, if a bag of a certain kind of carrots is grown in Cal. and another kind of carrot grown in Canada, they are not going to have the same sugar count. It is grown with different seed and in different soil. Scientist have fooled around with foods to make them more sweet tasting so this adds to the problem. Guest guest
I also do not know what to do sometimes. I really need the beta caratine that's in carrots and like I said, the soup is so soothing to me. I can't really say that I feel a difference in my body in any bad way when I eat carrot soup unless I eat to much of it or any fruits as well. Like the potassium in bananas is really helpful to me, but if I eat a really huge banana at one time, then it can make me feel like I have had too much sugar. Maybe it is as the saying goes - everything in moderation - at least the foods allowed on SCD!
