Guest guest
My new gastroenterologist had me do blood tests for the first time to differentiate between UC and Crohns and also to check for Celiac. Well, everything was negative! I think I've had UC for 27 years and my colonoscopies always show various amounts of ulceration, so the test results were surprising. This group was recently discussing the need to eat gluten before a celiac test. Does anyone know if being on SCD for more than a year would also make IBD antibody tests inaccurate? I wish I had done these tests before starting SCD for comparison. Debbie T (UC 27 yrs, SCD 10/06, Lialda)
