Guest guest
I have been dieting since I was about 8 (26 years-ICK-makes me sick to think about!!!!). I have never had much weight to lose, but have been a classic yo-yoer with the same 15 lbs over and over and over. Two years ago, I started yet another diet (South Beach) and lost my 15 lbs, but this time, I decided to really find a way to keep it off. Around the same time, I was diagnosed with hypertension and wanted to find a non-drup way to fight it (low-sodium, low fat, low sugar diet, etc., etc) Sooooo...I adopted a " clean eating " strategy...whole, natural foods, etc. It took me a loooooonggg time to really crave and enjoy eating this way, but I have really embraced it in about the past 5 months. My question is...how do I incorporate IE with my need to maintain a " healthy " lifestyle? In my case, there really are " good " and " bad " foods. As much as I wish I could have a cheeseburger and fries with extra salt (I looooooooovvvveeee salt!!!!!!!!!!!!), and just eat until I'm satisfied, I really don't want to compromise my health. Any advice you can give would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
