Guest guest
I'm going to ditto several others' comments... I waited exactly one year post-op and got pg the very first time we tried. I know it doesn't happen for everyone, obviously, because there are several of us here that still aren't having success conceiving... but for those of us whose weight was the only factor in our infertility, having the surgery certainly seemed to do the trick. Let's see, here are my stats: VBG 12/97, Pregnant 12/98, gained 30 lbs, mostly uneventful pregnancy (some bleeding at 17 weeks, probably low-lying placenta resolving), delivered 7# 11oz boy (Isaac) on 8/24/99. -Kris - Question The newbie has some questions....<g> for those of you who are pregnant or have had a child since WLS: How far post op were you before you got pregnant? How much did you gain with your pregnancy? ______________________________________________ FREE Personalized Email at Mail.com Sign up at http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup
Guest guest
My daughter was diagnosed with BPD with absolutely no physical or emotiona abuse at all. I do agree that to them a situation that would roll of one persons back they take differently, as if it were done to them on purpose. I have found that some counselors will not even diagnosis a person under 18 with BPD, which is strange since at a residental center close by here have rooms full of BPD's under the age of 18 in treatment. I have read recently the some believe the BPD can be inherited which up to recently was never considered. These are just a few things I have run into and found out since my daugher was diagnosed 2 years ago.
Guest guest
I posted on the pecan loop but wondered if vomiting was normal on the intro diet? My daughter woke up and didn't want to eat, drank water and vomited. Yesterday she had dark circles and had a 20 minute fit, which she has never done before. She started on the diet Sunday evening but snuck a small amount of illegal food Monday and Tuesday. I wondered if vomiting was normal.
