Guest guest
When we did in home our program was overseen by a Certified Begavior Analyst (CBA) and carried out by a " therapist " (not really a therapist, a student trained by the organization). The CBA was always available via email or phone. She came in once a week to observe the program and the therapist and after observation we would all meet and discuss. At our weekly meetings present were me, the therapist and the BCBA. The CBA also communicated with the outside speech therapist and OT's we used via email. A friend does in home w/her younger child and does the same as I did with the CBA and therapist they use. She also has meetings every 3-4 months in her home and all members of her child's team OT, speech, etc) attend and they discuss his progress and make sure everyone is working cohesively with the same goals in mind. Good luck!
Guest guest
Thank you ...Weekly meetings, that's what I should be getting, once a month supervision using " therapists " (mine aren't therapists either, just trained undergrads) is too little thanks for your feedback.
