Guest guest
Hi. Thanks for the reply. We have already done soaked spelt, which is a variety of wheat, and it's been ok. Adam Adam. If I were healed on SCD and could try grain again, I would start wih Buckwheat (not a type of wheat), Amaranth or Quinoa first...they are in differemt food families than Kamut which is a variety of gluten wheat and may be easier on your gut...have you considered rice, too? Wild Rice, Basmati, Brown etc. Good luck and congrats if you are there!!! -------------- Original message ---------------------- > Grains should not be introduced until one year after the lat symptom > has disappeared. > > > > > Hi All, > > > > As far as reintroducing grains, will someone email me > > offlist information about kamut specifically. is this > > grain acceptable when beginning the re-introducing > > process? > > > > > > > > Carol F. > Celiac, SCD 8 years,MCS, Latex Allergy > http://www.celiac.com/authors/143/Carol-Frilegh > http://www.talkaboutcuringautism.org/gfcf-diet/sc-diet.htm > > >
