Guest guest
I need advice and I'm hoping someone has some insight. I have been getting recurrent styes in my left eye, and now my right eye as well and have used warm compresses and even had a procedure to have them removed. However, they are back. After many doctor visits we've determined something systemic is causing the problem and antibiotics may be the best way to treat it. Obviously I want to avoid anibiotics as much as possible since the diet has seemingly been working and I'm off all of my Crohn's meds but I feel like it is the only option left to try to get rid of this problem. The doctor is recommending Doxycycline (100mg) twice a day for about 4 weeks. Has anyone else had to take antibiotics for another issue and not been set back with the diet? If so, are there ways to ward off the ill-effects to our digestive tract? I just don't want to undo all the hard work I've done with diet for the past year. Please help ASAP!
