Guest guest
I have a few questions for anyone who would like to answer: For those who have gotten pregnant post-WLS, did you " try " for the pregnancy, or did it " just happen " ? How long did you wait? How many had infertility before WLS, that got pregnant easily after WLS? I wasn't having periods or ovulating, but now at 6 months post-op and down to 220 pounds, I am back to normal cycles. Is 220 pounds an " ok " weight to get pregnant? My doctor said I can try anytime, I am healthy. Has anyone else had a pregnancy at this weight, and how did it go for you? I am tired of waiting! I am 31 yrs. old, and I want that baby! Please give me some advice. Thanks everyone!
Guest guest
hi i will answer although i am sure you have gotten many answers already. we didnt try...in fact, they told us it would never happen. this was pre op. i never thought it would happen then one day...SUPRISE!!! i was only 3 mo. post op...not recommended : ) i had maybe a handful of periods on my own my entire life. of course, i have had less than a handful since. i was about 255 when i got pregnant and weighted 235 when i delivered. after that i lost another bucket load and have been stuck since. of course, i havent been eating that well either so it is my own fault too. but we were both just fine. if you have been cleared go for it!!! julie questions I have a few questions for anyone who would like to answer: For those who have gotten pregnant post-WLS, did you " try " for the pregnancy, or did it " just happen " ?
