Jodi,

No I don't know about Spain and Israel. From their climates, I'd guess adding

sugar would be rare or possibly not allowed at all, but our the sake of our

health, we don't want to rely on guesses.

Don't forget that any wine that you know to have no residual sugar (dry) is

legal, whether or not sugar might have been added in the fermentation process.
