Guest guest
They (WIC) would probably give me a manual pump, wouldn't they? Kim
Guest guest
When I took my son in for his 2 week doc appointment, the doctor gave me a manual pump. I never could get the silly thing to pump anything out. I did everything to get my milk to let down, but it still wouldn't suck anything out. That's why I went ahead and bought an electric/battery operated one. I may call the Evenflo company next week to find out if they have had many complaints about their pump. (That is if they will actually be honest enough to tell me). Kim
Guest guest
Kim, I would be very careful with it as I have heard it can actually damage breast tissue. It might be worth getting a little more expensive pump. You could also talk to wic about getting a pump. Wendi Re: Welcome to breastfeedingonelist From: TATKAT1@... thanks for letting me know. It does make my breast really tender after I pump for a long period of time. Guest guest
I HATE the evenflo one!! It about ripped my nipple right off. I have never used a more uncomfortable breastpump!! I guess everyone is different but I could not let with this pump if I was drinking beer in a room full of crying babies with Angel on the other breast!!!! I have the gerber one also and it is a little better, I personally just get more out and have more confort with hand expressing. I gave my evenflo one to a friend! LOL, I don't think she ever really used though. Oh well, Re: Welcome to breastfeedingonelist From: TATKAT1@... When I took my son in for his 2 week doc appointment, the doctor gave me a manual pump.
