Guest guest
Jeff~ Keep the faith. The best is yet to come. You have certainly " paid your dues " haven't you. I am thinking and praying for your recovery. Sandy K. Pre-op for Jan. 2001 VBG Revision to DS Dr. Gagner
Guest guest
> > better off in a regular bed?? > > Huggles > Tiger Dear Tiger The first night in ICU they were unable to have the bed do what it was supposed to do , such as raise the head high enough to be in a sitting position and adjusting the legs so that he would not slide down the bed... (which he ended up doing and Dr Crookes and the nurses were able to help him back up in bed at that time I asked if he could be put in a regular bed but Dr Crookes said that he needed to be in That bed , so that the nurses could move him better in the bed . By the second day , we were mentioning it to everyone who would listen , how much a lot of the group had problems with the bed. The company's representative came by one day and could not even get it t work properly... (hmmm maybe they should make sure that everyone knows how to manipulate this bed huh??? ) Now we know that the bed is not working 100% the way it should but... Yesterday when the Physical Therapist came to work with Jeff , she was unable to place him in a complete sittng position while sitting in the bed. I surely hope and pray he will be allowed to go into a regular bed as soon as possible R.N.
